This herb is recommended for hot meals and should be added to the food when it is about ready. It works well when combined with eggplant and zucchini.

The mint family of herbs includes both rosemary and sage, of which sage is a very popular plant used in homes in the United States of America. Parsley is a favorite with many types of vegetables and is usually finely copped before it is added to food. Rosemary is also commonly used with garlic.

The wonderful herbs mentioned can easily be bought in shops, however, many people have started to grow their own. This may be because freshly picked and cooked herbs taste far better, and growing their own is healthier. Seeds can be purchased which have growing instructions on their packets, and they do well outside in soil or in flowerpots.
